Oh my goodness! I've been gone for two weeks! I'm sure all of my 0 followers have missed me. Ha ha. Seriously though, I fully plan on blogging more often. I'm one of those people who notoriously start blogs and only write a few posts before forgetting about them and letting them vanish into blog world.
Seriously though, I have been uber busy lately. It's summer and I love me some summertime. So, I've been out and about every chance I get.
Speaking of summertime..I wanted to share with you guys one of my all time favorite products to use during the summer. These are Philosophy's body lotions. If you've used them, you probably know they are one of the most moisturizing light-weight lotions for warm weather. This lotion is so smooth. It feels like silk in your hands. Plus, most Philosophy lotions come with a pump, which I personally love.
The current scent that I have from the Philosophy lotion line is Raspberries and Cream. This retails for $24, but I bought it at TJ Maxx for $15, which I thought was a pretty sweet deal. The moisturizing properties and the consistency is, like I said, amazing. The smell in the bottle is amazing. It reminds me of Pez Candy, a sweet, fruity scent. The smell when I put it on my skin is even better. I thought it smelled more creamy, a bit more mature. HOWEVER....I think the longer I wear it, the scent matures more and more..and by the end of the day, this ends up making me smell like my grandfather. No joke. If I put this on in the morning, I smell like a sweet cherry cigar my nighttime. Now, I'm not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing. It's not really a stale smell, and by the time I crawl into bed at night, I do find the scent comforting. However, it is definitely different than any other body scent I've tried.
While I was at TJ Maxx, I also picked up one of Philsophy 3-in-1 body wash, bubble bath, and shampoo. The scent is, get this, Cinnamon Hot Dots. I have been looking for a cinnamon scented body wash forever, and this one is so lovely and moisturizing that I just cannot get enough of it. It smells just like the candy and leaves me feeling super soft. The scent doesn't linger on my skin, but for once, that's not really a bad thing. As much as I love cinnamon, I don't know if I really want to smell like it all day, everyday.
If you never have, check out Philosophy's website. They have tons of amazing scents. Right now, everything on the site is 25% off too. Or, you could hit up your local TJ Maxx and take a sniff, since mine always has tons of Philosophy products on sale.
Oh...and one last note..you aren't supposed to use the 3-in-1's on children under four. I read this somewhere, and I'm not sure why. I don't know if it applies to the lotion too, but my 3-in-1 does state this on the bottle. So, all you Mamas out there beware.

Summer Lovin'
I just looovveee summertime. Cody is working today, so Lil' Miss and I were left looking for something to do on our own. Since, we haven't been to the pool yet this year, I decided to pack it up and head for the water. However, when I started getting our things together, I realized I was long overdue for some summertime shopping. I started doing some online shopping to scope out the things I wanted and thought that I would share some of the adorable things I found.
I especially love these ponytail holders. Izabella is cursed with my ridiculous, frizzy curls, so I'm always on the lookout for something to tame her hair when the weather gets hot.
